Described as having “the most delicious voice this side of the universe”, Peter Horsfall released his acclaimed debut solo EP in 2016. A collection of original compositions, the ‘How Can We Know?’ EP was featured on national radio with airplay on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 3. The release culminated with a live performance on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ programme, live from London’s South Bank Centre. Pete has gone on to present solo shows at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, the Pizza Express Jazz Club, and will release his debut full length LP in 2017.
As a member of the cult London swing group Kansas Smitty’s House Band, Pete performs regularly at many top UK venues including Ronnie Scott’s, The Jazz Cafe, the 606 club, and innumerable festivals both in the UK and abroad. In addition, Pete has sung with Joe Stilgoe and the BBC Big Band live on BBC Radio 2’s ‘Friday Night is Music Night’, and has also made international appearances including a week at the Lincoln Center in New York City.
